Black soap (savon noir) is essential to the Moroccan hammam (or spa).

The soap resembles an oil-based paste, created using traditional techniques. Made of natural
ingredients – 100% virgin black olive oil pureed with black olives. The saponification process
is done by adding potassium hydroxide. This is a key distinction from soap bars and allows for
its wonderfully gooey consistency.

Natural Moroccan black soap high in Vitamin E and A, is exceptionally moisturising used in
place of shower gel or as an exfoliator. It opens up pores and loosens dead skin cells for easy
and deep exfoliation. Traditionally we use it with moroccan glove called Kessa to remove
dead skin. It is a great contribution to any anti-ageing skin regime leaving the skin soft and
silky after use.
